CDLI is working collaboratively to develop a curriculum that strengthens capacity for resident-led Community Development (CD) work in Calgary. After developing and piloting the curriculum, the intent is to make the curriculum publicly available to people, community groups and organizations interested in making positive changes in communities/ neighbourhoods.
On March 13, Drop-in and stay as long as you like between 3:30pm - 7:30pm. Join different discussion stations to discuss and provide feedback on all aspects of the curriculum including design, content, delivery, etc.
We look forward to your help in building an effective curriculum that meets the interests and needs of Calgarians and builds on the successful work of others.
During the “Curriculum Lab” drop-in session we will collectively:
Discuss ideas gathered so far from residents, programs and practitioners
Provide feedback and learn from the interests and experiences of other Calgarians and initiatives
Share ideas on how you can use/contribute to a curriculum for resident-led community change
